Barbecued Duck Breast Recipes

Ingredients :

1 (300g) duck breast

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp Char Siu sauce

1 tbsp Chinese rose wine

a little food coloring

Dipping Sauce

2 tbsp water

2 tbsp Char Siu sauce

1 tsp oyster sauce

1 tsp peanut butter

1 tsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp sugar

Method :

Rub salt and black pepper on duck breast. Leave it for 20 minutes. Mix Char Siu sauce with wine and food coloring. Place duck breast in the Char Siu sauce mixture (from step 2) and marinate for 2 hours. Preheat the oven at 210C. Grill duck breast for 25 minutes until brown. Let it cool off for 20 minutes before slicing. Bring dipping sauce ingredients to the boil. Mix well and serve with duck breast. Leaving the duck breast for 20 minutes after grilling can prevent the duck breast from bleeding when sliced.
