Pear and Cinnamon Cake Recipe

Ingredients : |
250 g
butter, softened
170 g
brown sugar
4 eggs
250 g self
raising flour, sifted
3 tsp
ground cinnamon
5 canned
pear haves, drained and sliced
3 tbsp
sugar |
Method :

Place butter and brown sugar in a large
bowl and beat until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, beating
well after each addition.

Add flour and 2 tsp cinnamon and beat
well to combine.

Spoon batter into a greased and lined
23 cm cake tin.

Arrange pear slices attractively on top
of batter.

Combine sugar and remaining cinnamon,
sprinkle over top of cake and bake for 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours or until cake
is cooked when tested with a skewer.
