125 g flour, sifted
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp mixed spice
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
60 g butter, cut into pieces
90g brown sugar
2 tbsp golden syrup, warmed
1 tbsp finely chopped glacé
ginger or stem ginger in syrup
