Spiced Grapes Recipes

Ingredients :

large firm seedless grapes

caster sugar

whole cloves

black peppercorns

coriander seeds

bottle of brandy

peel of half an orange

Method :
  1. Wash and dry the grapes and cut them off the branches, leaving the stems on.
  2. Put them into a bowl, cover with the sugar, spices and lemon peel.
  3. Stir the grapes so that they are all coated.
  4. Spoon into sterilized jars along with all the flavorings.
  5. Pour the brandy over to cover.
  6. Seal, label and store for 2 months.
  7. Shake the jars occasionally.

Serves 4 - 6

Spiced grapes are really delicious to eat with coffee at the end of a meal.
