Waffles With Maple Sauce Recipe

Ingredients :

8 prepared waffles, heated

Maple Sauce :

170 ml maple syrup

4 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp ground allspice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch caraway seeds

1. To make sauce, place maple syrup and honey in a small heavy based saucepan and cook over a low heat, stirring for 5 minutes or until honey melts and mixture is hot.
2. Stir in allspice, cinnamon and caraway seeds.
3. Spoon sauce over waffles and serve immediately.
