Walnut and Spice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients : |
75 g
butter
90 g brown
sugar
1 egg
125 g self
raising flour, sifted
1 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
ground cloves
1/4 cup
milk
4 tbsp
chopped walnuts |
Method :

Place butter and sugar in a bowl and
beat until light and fluffy.

Beat in egg, then flour, ginger,
nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.

Stir in milk and walnuts and mix well
to combine.

Spoon batter into a greased 4 cup
pudding basin, cover basin with foil, then place in a baking dish with 4
cm boiling water in the base.

Bake for 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours or until
pudding is cooked when tested with a skewer.

Allow pudding to stand in a basin for
10 minutes before turning out and serving.
Serves 4

180oC, 350oF, Gas 4
