Blackcurrant and Lemon Verbena Tisane Recipe

Ingredients :

2 1/2 cups boiling water

1 tbsp fresh or frozen blackcurrants

10 lemon verbena leaves

brown sugar, optional

Method :
  1. Pour the boiling water over the blackcurrants and lemon verbena leaves and leave to infuse for about 5 minutes, or longer to taste.

  2. Strain the liquid into cups or tall glasses and decorate with a sprig of lemon verbena.

  3. If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in 1 tsp of brown sugar.

A warm, comforting fruity drink that will revive you on a cold winter's night. It is also excellent served chilled on a hot summer's day.
