Skewered Pork Recipes

Ingredients : |
750 g pork
fillets, sliced
Ginger
Marinade :
1 tsp
grated fresh ginger
1 onion,
chopped
125 ml soy
sauce
3 tbsp
brown sugar
90 ml dry
sherry |
Method :
- To make marinade, place ginger,
onion, soy sauce, brown sugar and sherry in a glass or ceramic bowl.
- Add pork and toss well to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Remove pork from marinade and
thread onto eight oiled skewers.
- Cook skewers on a preheated
lightly oiled barbecue or under a preheated grill, basting
frequently with marinade, for 6-8 minutes or until cooked.
