Skewered Pork Recipes

Ingredients :

750 g pork fillets, sliced

Ginger Marinade :

1 tsp grated fresh ginger

1 onion, chopped

125 ml soy sauce

3 tbsp brown sugar

90 ml dry sherry

Method :
  1. To make marinade, place ginger, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar and sherry in a glass or ceramic bowl.
  2. Add pork and toss well to coat.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  4. Remove pork from marinade and thread onto eight oiled skewers.
  5. Cook skewers on a preheated lightly oiled barbecue or under a preheated grill, basting frequently with marinade, for 6-8 minutes or until cooked.
