For special occasion you might like to
decorate a bowl of devilled nuts with a chili flower. To make a chili
flower, choose a small chili or trim the ends from a long chili, keeping
the stem end intact. Using a small pair of scissors cut around the chili
to form petals, taking care not to cut all the way to the stem. Remove
the seeds, drop the chili into a bowl of iced water and refrigerate
until the 'flower' opens out.
