Smoked Trout With Minted Grapefruit Recipes

Ingredients :

1 lollo rosso lettuce

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp chopped fresh mint, and a few whole leaves for garnish

1 lb smoked trout, skinned , boned and sliced

2 grapefruit, peeled and segmented

1/2 cup store bought whole mayonnaise

Method :
  1. Toss the lettuce with the lemon juice and half the mint.
  2. Arrange on a plate and place the smoked trout among the leaves.
  3. Add the grapefruit segments as a decoration.
  4. Mix the other half of the chopped mint with the mayonnaise and serve separately in a small bowl, garnished with a mint leaf or two.

Trout and grapefruit make a magical combination, especially with a slight hint of mint.

Serves 4 - 6
