Moroccan Prawns (Shrimps) with Spices Recipes

Ingredients :

500g raw tiger prawns (shrimps) in their shells

4 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 bunch of coriander, finely chopped


lemon wedges, to serve

Method :
  1. Peel and devein most of the prawns, leaving a few whole as the look attractive.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan.
  3. Add the garlic and cook until it becomes aromatic.
  4. Stir in the cumin, ginger, paprika and cayenne pepper, heat for 30 seconds, then add the prawns.
  5. Fry quickly, stir, until they turn pink all over.
  6. Stir in the coriander and season with salt.
  7. Heat for 30 seconds, serve the prawns with the cooking juices spooned over them and accompanied by lemon wedges.

Serves 4
