Moroccan Prawns (Shrimps) with Spices Recipes

Ingredients : |
500g raw tiger prawns (shrimps) in their
shells
4 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 bunch of coriander, finely chopped
salt
lemon wedges, to serve |
Method :
- Peel and devein most of the
prawns, leaving a few whole as the look attractive.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying
pan.
- Add the garlic and cook until it
becomes aromatic.
- Stir in the cumin, ginger, paprika
and cayenne pepper, heat for 30 seconds, then add the prawns.
- Fry quickly, stir, until they turn
pink all over.
- Stir in the coriander and season
with salt.
- Heat for 30 seconds, serve the
prawns with the cooking juices spooned over them and accompanied by
lemon wedges.
