Brussels Sprouts With Mustard Recipes

Ingredients :

500 g brussels sprouts

Mustard Sauce :

15 g butter

1 tbsp flour

125 ml hot milk

250 ml chicken stock

2 tsp wholegrain mustard

1 tbsp mayonnaise

Method :
  1. Boil, steam or microwave Brussels sprouts until just tender.
  2. Drain, set aside and keep warm.
  3. To make sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  4. Remove pan from heat and whisk in milk, then stock.
  5. Return pan to heat and cook, stirring, for 4-5 minutes or until sauce boils and thickens.
  6. Stir in mustard and mayonnaise.
  7. Spoon sauce over Brussels sprouts and serve immediately.

Serves 4
