Blueberry and Ginger Crumble Recipes

Ingredients :

caster sugar

butter, softened


dark brown sugar

caster sugar

bicarbonate of soda

ground ginger

Method :
  1. Put the blueberries into a pie dish and sprinkle with the caster sugar.
  2. To prepare the crumble, mix the butter and flour together with your fingers until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Add the sugars, bicarbonate of soda and ginger.
  4. Cover the blueberries lightly with this mixture, making sure it is level, but don't press it down.
  5. Bake in preheated oven (180C/350F/Gas 4) for 30 minutes.
