Calamari With Vegetables Recipes

tomatoes,

Method :
- Ask the fishmonger to clean the
calamari for you.
- Cut them into bite sized pieces.
- Heat the oil in the pan and add
the onion.
- Cook until it is soft, then add
the turnips, tomatoes, nutmeg, pepper, cayenne and water.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the spinach and when it
has wilted, add the calamari.
- The calamari will be ready as soon as
it becomes opaque.
- Serve immediately.
Serves 4 - 6
An unusual combination of calamari, turnips,
tomatoes and spinach from North Africa.
