Mango and Date Chutney Recipes

dates,
pitted and chopped

ginger
ground
ginger
sultanas
ground
allspice
chilies,
chopped
vinegar
granulates
sugar |
Method :
- Put the mango, dates, ginger,
sultanas, allspice, chilies and vinegar into a saucepan and bring to
the boil.
- Add the sugar and stir until it
has dissolved.
- Simmer for about 30 minutes or
until the chutney is not liquid any more, but a thick consistency.
- You should be able to draw a
wooden spoon along the bottom of the saucepan without seeing free
liquid.
- Spoon into warm sterilized jars,
seal and store in a cool, dark place for a month before opening.
