Method :
- Shred the cabbage.
- Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and
mix through the cabbage.
- Cover and refrigerator for 12 hours.
- Drain off the vinegar.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan, add the onion
slices and cook until they are translucent.
- Add the cabbage and paprika and stir thoroughly.
- Add the wine and cook, covered, for 1 hour.
Serves 6
A Germany way of cooking cabbage. It looks
very attractive served on white plates.
