Paprika Cabbage Recipes

Ingredients :

For the marinade :

cabbage

 

white vinegar

caraway seeds

salt

pepper

paprika

onions, sliced

butter

white wine

Method :
  1. Shred the cabbage.
  2. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and mix through the cabbage.
  3. Cover and refrigerator for 12 hours.
  4. Drain off the vinegar.
  5. Melt butter in a large saucepan, add the onion slices and cook until they are translucent.
  6. Add the cabbage and paprika and stir thoroughly.
  7. Add the wine and cook, covered, for 1 hour.

Serves 6

A Germany way of cooking cabbage. It looks very attractive served on white plates.
