Potato Herb Mash Recipes

Ingredients :

4 large potatoes, quartered

1/4 cup (60ml / 2 fl oz) milk

40g (1.25 oz) butter

1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme

1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano

1 tbsp chopped fresh marjoram

Method :

Add the potato to a large pan of boiling salted water. Cook until just tender, then drain. Return the potato to the pan over low heat, add the milk and quickly mash, adding a little more milk if necessary to make the potato a fluffy consistency. Beat in the butter. Stir in the herbs, and season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
