Potatoes and Herbs Recipes

white potatoes of uniform size

flour

thyme leaves

chopped marjoram

chopped chervil or parsley

butter

small garlic cloves, unpeeled

bay leaf

salt and pepper

Method :
  1. Wash and peel the potatoes and leave whole.
  2. Season the flour with salt and pepper and the herbs; roll the potatoes in it until completely covered.
  3. Arrange the potatoes in a buttered casserole dish and dot with butter.
  4. Add the garlic and bay leaf to the dish, cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 200C/400F/Gas 6 for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
