Spiced Oil Recipes

Ingredients : |
570 ml
light vegetable oil
3 cloves
3 whole
allspice berries
1 cinnamon
stick
15 ml
coriander seeds
4 cardamom
pods, crushed
12 whole
black peppercorns
peel of
half an orange |
Method :
- Warm the oil in a saucepan over
gentle heat, pour over the spices and allow to cool.
- Pour into bottles, including some
of the spices and a piece of orange rind, and seal each bottle
tightly.
- Keep for 2 weeks before using.
Serves 4 - 6
