Chicken Satay Recipes

Ingredients :

500g chicken fillets

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 small onion, grated

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 tsp oil

Method :
  1. Cut chicken into small cubes.
  2. Thread the chicken on to skewers.
  3. Arrange the skewers in a flat dish.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients to make a marinade.
  5. Brush over the chicken.
  6. Leave chicken to marinate for at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  7. Grill or barbecue the Chicken Satay, turning frequently and basting occasionally with marinade.
  8. Serve hot.

An Indonesian recipe that makes a great alternative for the barbecue.

Serves 2 - 4
