Chicken Drumsticks Recipes

Ingredients :

800 g chicken drumsticks

Marinade

10 g ginger paste

10 g garlic paste

30 ml lemon juice

salt

10 g red chili paste

3 g garam masala

100 g yoghurt, drained

10 g coriander powder

200 g yoghurt

60 g brown onion paste

20 g cumin (jeera) seeds

15 g black peppercorns

20 g green coriander, chopped

Method :
  1. Make 3 incisions on each drumsticks.
  2. Whisk together, the ingredients for the marinade.
  3. Rub marinade into the drumsticks and leave aside for 4 hours.
  4. Skewer the drumsticks and leave aside for 4 hours.
  5. Skewer the drumsticks and roast in a tandoor for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove from skewers and place drumsticks in oven proof dish mixed with the rest of the ingredients.
  7. Cover tightly and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Alternatively, cook it in a handi (pot), sealed with dough over a hot plate for 30 minutes on low heat.

Serves 4 - 6
