Chicken Mince Rolls Recipes

Ingredients :

Cabbage (large), 1

Filling

chicken, minced 550 g

ginger, chopped 10 g

garlic, chopped 10 g

onion, chopped 20 g

green chili, chopped 5 g

green cardamom (choti elaichi) powder 2 g

cloves (laung) powder 1.5 g

red chili paste 5 g

almond paste 15 g

salt to taste

Curry

butter, 40 g

onion paste 50 g

yellow chili powder 8 g

a pinch turmeric (haldi) powder

cumin (jeera) powder 3 g

coriander powder 4 g

saffron (kesar) 1 g

garam masala 3 g

coconut milk 200 ml

cream 150 ml

Method :
  1. Cut the stem and blanch the cabbage.
  2. For the filling, mix all ingredients and divide into 8 equal portions.
  3. Spread out 2 cabbage leaves, place one portion of filling in the center and make a roll.
  4. Make eight such rolls.
  5. For the curry, heat butter in a handi (pot).
  6. Sauté onion paste, add spices and cook till the oil separates.
  7. Place the cabbage rolls carefully in the handi (pot) and pour the coconut milk and cream.
  8. Cover with lid and seal the edges with dough and let it cook in a oven for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove form the oven, serve hot, accompanied by a green salad.
